SELVAGEM

Selvagem is a study cycle featuring roundtable discussions, workshops, book publications and an online channel.

Researchers from seemingly distant cultures, each of whom approaches their studies differently, join candid, open-to-the-public panels to discuss their knowledge and outlook on life.

Moderated by Ailton Krenak, the different thematic streams delve into the connections between scientific, indigenous, artistic, academic and ancestral knowledge.

Carlos Papá and Cristine Takuá joined the 2019 Selvagem Cycle, bringing their thoughts and knowledge to the meeting and sharing the strength and wisdom of the Guarani Mbya with the audience and the other speakers in the event.

This event first sparked the dreams and the embryos of Instituto Maracá projects in partnership with Selvagem – A study cycle on life.
