OBJECTIVE 1
PROJECTS TO PROTECT, HIGHLIGHT AND PUBLICIZE THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
One of our key objectives is to undertake public-facing projects, through the creation of spaces conducive to intercultural dialogue, and employing art as a means of expression. To that end, we take and support actions to protect the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples, as well as projects designed to highlight and publicize indigenous knowledge, art, history and culture.
We also carry out projects and actions to provide training, education and improvement to indigenous representatives so they can operate autonomously, freely and authoritatively in different fields.
Our projects are selected and tailored in keeping with our conceptual guidelines, and they are always based on dialogue with our indigenous partners.
The projects we undertake are also experiences that inform and guide our next steps. They get us closer to our intentions and objectives, and as we go we find ways to bring dreams, ideas and connections to fruition. We create and learn together.
All our projects are interconnected in some way. Smaller projects often enable aspects or steps of bigger projects, complementing one another and connecting to help enable our broader proposals and objectives.
